Edited: Now This is known as the “Calgary Intercultural Festival”
Burc Intercultural Centre organized the 12th Intercultural Turkish Festival with the participation of nearly 20,000 Calgarians, along with MPs, MLAs, and the Premier of Alberta, Jason Kenney. This vibrant event would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our volunteers, the generous contributions of our sponsors, and the unwavering support of our community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who played a part in making this festival a resounding success.
The 12th Intercultural Turkish Festival stands out as one of the few events in Calgary that brings together people from all walks of life, creating a space where diversity thrives in the heart of Eau Claire Plaza. Attendees had the unique opportunity to experience the rich cultures of over 15 countries, with talented musicians and skilled dancers delivering mesmerizing performances that reflected the beauty and variety of our world. The festival was a true testament to the power of intercultural exchange, providing a platform for cultural understanding and unity.
We are deeply thankful to the distinguished MPs, MLAs, and Premier Jason Kenney, whose presence at the festival added a special layer of prestige and demonstrated their ongoing commitment to supporting the celebration of diversity in our province.
